A graduate of Mansfield Senior High School, Louise pursued her career in business. She worked at several Mansfield corporations, including Westinghouse and Tappan Stove. Her proudest career achievement was her promotion to the position of secretary-treasurer of the H. L. Reed Co. She was the first woman to hold an administrator position in that company. Louise was a member of First English Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her sister, Jean Baker of Wooster, Ohio; her son, Michael Dickson, of Mansfield; her grandchildren, Amy (Sam) Love of New Marshfield, Sarah Dickson of Columbus, Ohio and Michael T. Dickson of Mansfield, Ohio; great-grandchildren, Adrian (Jonah) Hensley, their children Opal Louise and Onyx, Katherine Samantha (Shawn) Tribe, and their children Axel and Zion, and Sully Love; several nephews and nieces.
Louise was preceded in death by her parents, and her daughter, Debbie Jean Dickson.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 16, 2025, at 12:00 noon at First English Lutheran Church, 53 Park Avenue West, Mansfield, conducted by Pastor Jay D. Jackson, Jr.
