Lucia Grillo, age 94, of Mansfield, Ohio, died January 15, 2000 after an extended illness. Mrs. Grillo was born June 7, 1905 in Parghelia, Italy and was a Mansfield resident for 62 years. She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church.
Surviving are three sons and daughters-in-law; Dominic and Sandy Grillo, Frank and Norma Grillo, and Robert and Carole Grillo, all of Mansfield, nine grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; Francesco and Domenica Bagnato, her husband; Dominic, one daughter; Elizabeth Knapp, a granddaughter; Nichole and a great-grandson; Dominic.
Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Tuesday, January 18, from 7-9 p.m. and on Wednesday from 12:00 - 12:30. Vigil services will be held Tuesday January 18, 2000 at 7:30 p.m. Funeral mass will be held Wednesday, January 19, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church, conducted by Father Herbert Weber. Burial will be at Mansfield Catholic Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter's Catholic Church.
