
Lucille J. Day, 81, of Mansfield, died Thursday, April 26, 2007, at Hospice House of Ashland. Born August 23, 1925 in Mansfield, she was the daughter of Earl and Edith Stutz Beilstein. She attended Lincoln Heights Baptist Church and was a long time member of First Baptist Church in Ashland. Lucille taught Sunday school and enjoyed spending time with her family, being at the lake and reading her Bible. She was employed with Mansfield Metropolitan Housing as an administrative assistant.
She is survived by two sons, Larry Sandra Day of Lexington, KY and David Day of Stockbridge, GA; six grandchildren, Timothy Day, Steve Teresa Day, all of Lexington, KY, Jeannette John Franklin of Frankfort, KY, Elisa Brad Smith of Inverness, FL, David Andrew Day and Brent Michael Day, both of Naples, FL; two great-grandchildren; two step great-grandchildren; three nephews; one niece; and a favorite cousin and caregiver Roberta Richard Seitz. Preceding her in death were her husband, Charles L. Day; parents; sister, Helen Krebs; and brother, Richard Beilstein.
Friends may call at the Diamond St. Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, Thursday, May 3 from 1-4 and 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service to be held Friday at 1:00 p.m. conducted by Rev. Larry Day and Rev. Mike Wilson. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery. A reception will follow services at Lincoln Heights Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family.
