Lula Sexton

Lula J. Sexton (Stephens), 77, of Plymouth, Ohio gained her angel wings on Wednesday, January 19, 2022. She was a wonderful, caring, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Born on March 31, 1944 to Arthur and Molly Stephens, she grew up in the Plymouth-Shiloh community where she also met her loving husband of 60 years, Albert "Sam" Sexton.

Lula loved shopping and spending time with loved ones. She always put others first and tended to everyone else's needs above her own.

She lived by the chapter Psalm 23 "The Lord is my shepherd I shall not want..."

Lula was a very strong and caring woman, she will be missed by many. We will hold her in our hearts forever.

Lula is survived by her husband, Albert "Sam" Sexton; three children, Billy (Glenna) Sexton, Melinda Oney and Samantha Robinson; five grandchildren, Billy Sexton Jr., Nathan (Jonise) Oney, Travis (Ashley) Robinson, Breanna (Darrin) Bellomy and Chassidy (Logan) Potts; and many great-grandchildren that she loved very much.

She was preceded in death by her grandson, Gregory Brown Jr. who passed away on June 16, 2011.

There will be a private family gathering to celebrate her life. There is no need for donations at this time. The Wappner Cremation Center is honored to serve the family.
