Margaret Conner

Margaret E. Welty Moffett Conner, 86 of 26 Pleasant St. died Saturday December 4, 1999 at MedCentral Mansfield following an extended illness.  Mrs. Conner was born September 26, 1913 in St. Louis, Missouri residing in the Lucas area most of her life.  She was a member of Grace Bible Church in Lucas.  Mrs. Conner had belonged to Moose Lodge #341, she played organ and piano for many years at the church.

Surviving are four sons and three daughters-in-law, Ted & Sharon Moffett of Lucas, Ohio; Dean & Virginia Moffett of Maumee, Ohio; Bud & Donna Moffett of Galion, Ohio; and Roger Moffett of Mansfield, Ohio; ten grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; one brother, John Welty of Hubbard Lake, Michigan; one sister, Justina Fox of Humble, Texas and a very special friend, Harold Sipe of Mansfield.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond & Margaret Fisher Welty; her first husband, Clifford 'Ted' Moffett; her second husband, John Conner & a brother, Tom Welty.

Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors on Tuesday December 7, 1999 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday December 8, 1999 at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home conducted by the Rev. Charles Barnhill.  Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Grace Bible Church in Lucas, Ohio or to the donor's choice.
