Margaret Perry

Margaret J. Hoover Perry, 85, of 3448 Park Ave West died Tuesday, May 15, 2001 at Galion Community Hospital after an extended illness. Mrs. Perry was born August 21, 1915 in Delaware, Ohio living in the Mansfield area most of her life. She was a member of Ontario United Methodist Church where she was active in W.S.C.S. Mrs. Perry was an avid quilter.

She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Oscar W. Perry of Ontario; two daughters and a son-in-law, Dorothy Rhodes of Ontario and her good friend, Tom Mitchell and Alice & Dennis Bowers of Portage, Michigan; a son and daughter-in-law, Dale & Norma Perry of Ontario; 16 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and a brother and sister-in-law, Curtis & Pauline Hoover of Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Aaron & Cecie Payton Hoover; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Donald L. & Loretta Varga Perry and Wendell Carl Perry; four brothers; and two sisters.

Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Friday from 5-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:00 a.m. conducted by Rev. James Winkler.
