Maria Burbach

Maria Burbach, 88, died Saturday, October 24, 2009, at the home of her daughter in Lucas. Born July 18, 1921, in Krtschedin, Yugoslavia, she was the daughter of Peter and Barbara Klauser Kreilach. Mrs. Burbach was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Mansfield and enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting and baking.

Surviving are two daughters, Linda Kenneth Westfield of Lucas and Rosemarie Lindhout of Mansfield; two sons, Reinhold Deborah Burbach of Florida and Walter Burbach of Columbus, OH; three grandchildren, Kendra Geoffrey Newland, Christina Lindhout and Sabrina Lindhout; two great grandchildren, Elijah and Elisabeth Newland; two step grandchildren, Ken Amy Westfield and Steve Sara Westfield; and four step great grandchildren, Anna and Andrew Westfield and Lillian and Gabriel Gabe Westfield. She was preceded in death by her husband, Philipp Burbach; her parents; and four brothers, Peter, Philipp, Johann and Christian Kreilach.

Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, October 27, 2009, at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St., Mansfield. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 28, 2009, at Grace Bible Church, 67 W. Main St., Lucas, conducted by Rev. Marc Patterson. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery.
