

Mark A. "Mad Dog" Enix, 47, of Mansfield, passed away Friday, August 18, 2017 at OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. Born August 9, 1970 in Mansfield, he was the son of Russell Wilson and Margaret Louise (McCrea) Enix.
Mark was a graduate of Madison Comprehensive High School and worked in the construction and tree service fields. He enjoyed being outdoors especially with his children and was always willing to help a friend in need. A mentor to many, Mark was passionate about martial arts and obtained his black belt, was a world champion kick boxer, trainer, MMA enthusiast and had won 15 Toughman contests. He also taught self defense and was very active with Friendly House in his younger years.
He is survived by his wife of 10 years, whom he has loved for 15 years, Michelle (Lemon) Enix; children, Elizabeth Enix, Mason Enix, Jessica Parsons, Nicoletta Enix (Eric Simmons), Kyle Enix (Shelby Hoelscher), Justin Cordell and Jacob Enix; grandchildren, Bella, Becca, Connor, Kallie and a granddaughter on the way; his mother, Margaret Enix; two brothers, Matt (Lisa) McCrea and Tim Enix; a sister, Lesa (Dustin) Gifford; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Russell Enix; paternal grandparents, Ole and Ann Enix; maternal grandparents, Harry and Evelyn McCrea; aunts and uncles, Chuck Withrow, Donna Graber, Ralph McCrea, and Shirley and Dave Cowgill; and cousins, Ruth Klotz and Baby Mikey.
Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 21, 2017 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond Street, Mansfield.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family for the care of his children.
