Mark Nevius

Born August 28, 1950 in Tiffin, Ohio he was the son of Robert B. and Jeanette C. (Wurm) Nevius. Mark was a 1968 graduate of Calvert High School in Tiffin and a graduate of Tiffin University. He worked for Peabody Barnes as a Cost Accountant from 1976 – 1991 and then worked for MTD Products in Shelby from 1998 – 2008. Mark also taught at Mansfield Business College from 1973 – 1985 which he enjoyed immensely and loved being around the students he taught. A very outgoing person, Mark also enjoyed golfing, fishing and wedding photography.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Sharon R. (Claypool) Nevius; and numerous aunts, nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert B. Nevius in 2005 and his mother, Jeanette C. Nevius in 1998.

Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, May 24, 2012 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 25, 2012 at Oak Grove Memorial Park.

Because of Mark’s love for animals, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Richland County.
