Mark Small

Mark E. Small, 63, of Mansfield, died Thursday, February 18, 2010 at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital. Born November 30, 1946 in Mansfield, he was the son of Leslie J. and Caroline M. Keller Small. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps. Mark previously worked at Tappan for 35 years and was currently co-owner of Small's Lawn Care. Mark was a member of Cornerstone Grace Brethren Church and the Owl's Club. An avid Cleveland Brown's fan, he enjoyed golfing. Mark dearly loved his grandchildren and his dogs.

He is survived by his wife, Diana Knott Small of Mansfield; mother, Caroline Small of Mansfield; sons and daughters-in-law, Mark and Michelle Small of Round Rock, Texas, and Matthew and Shelly Small of Mansfield; grandchildren, Caleb and Oliver Small; sisters-in-law, Sharon Beauregard and JoAnn Knott; brothers-in-law, Bob Beauregard, Lynn Knott, and Gary Knott. He was preceded in death by his father; and sister, Leslie R. Small.

Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, February 21, 2010 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington Springmill Rd., Mansfield. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home conducted by Pastor Les Vnasdale. Burial will be in Mansfield Memorial Park at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Akron Children's Hospital.
