Mark Vance

Mark Miguel Vance, 39, of Mansfield, died September 10, 2002 at MedCentral Mansfield following a brief illness. Mr. Vance was born March 12, 1963 in Mansfield being an area resident most of his life, until moving to Atlanta, Georgia a year and a half ago. He was a member of the New Beginning Full Gospel Baptist Church.

Surviving are his mother, Carrell Vance Gandy; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Antonio Lamont and Diane Vance of Mansfield; and Charles E. Gandy Jr. of Columbus; grandparents, Rev. R.D. and Bessie Feagin; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Howard Sr. and Queen Esther Vance; and his step-father, Charles E. Gandy Sr.

Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors on Friday September 13, 2002 from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at the New Beginning Full Gospel Baptist Church conducted by Pastor Minnie Glenn. Burial will be in Mansfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. The family will receive guests at the home of his brother, Lamont Vance, 823 Burns St. Mansfield.
