Martha Homerick

Martha Stall Homerick, 69, of Mansfield, died Saturday, May 19, 2007 at Winchester Terrance Nursing Home following an extended illness. Martha was born September 22, 1937 in Morrow County. She was a member of Main Street United Methodist Church, and had also been part of the Rainbow Girls of the Masonic Lodge. Martha was a Graduate of Madison High. Madison Schools as a cook, and Borden Dairy is where Martha spent her working career, though primarily Martha was a stay at home mom.

Surviving is her mother, Iris A. Creswell Stall; a son and daughter-in-law, Eric and Connie Homerick of Mansfield; a daughter, Vicky Schoenman of Mansfield; two grandchildren, Elizabeth Homerick and Jennifer Schoenman; four great-grandchildren, Trenton, Isaiah, Dominic, and Mariah; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Joe and Kathy Homerick; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and good friends. Preceding Martha in death was her Husband, Lawrence W. Homerick, and her father Kenneth Stall.

Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors on Tuesday, May 22, 2007 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Funeral services will take place at the funeral home on May 23, at 10:30AM with Rev. Doug Lewis officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Lexington. Memorial Contributions may be made to Main Street United Methodist in Martha's memory.
