Martha Porter

Martha K. Porter, of Mansfield, died Saturday, November 10, 2007 at Mifflin Care Center. She was born in Lima, OH on November 24, 1923 to Anthony and Clara Barrick DeCurtins. Martha was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church and graduated from St. John's Catholic School in Lima. She enjoyed baking, cooking, and spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Martha is survived by five sons and daughter-in-laws, Terry L. and Susan C. Porter of Memphis, TN, John M. and Patricia Balsinger Porter of Orange, CA, Eugene D. and Vicki Porter of Mansfield, OH, Robert A. Porter of Bellville, OH, Christopher J. and Aimee Porter of Mansfield, OH; grandchildren, Elaine, Joshua, Gregory, Danielle, Karesten, and Whitney; great-grandchildren, Alyssa Marie, Victoria Nicole, and Morgan Elise. She is preceded in death by her parents, loving husband, Mack M. Porter; grandson, Timothy Porter; six brothers and sisters, Mary, Betty, Eugene, John, Paul, Joe DeCurtins.

Friends may call at the Diamond St. Home of Wappner funeral Directors on Monday November 12, 2007 from 4-6 p.m. The funeral service will be at the funeral home on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. and will be conducted by St. Peter's Catholic Church.
