
Marvin 'Doc' Daniel Doyle, 74, of Crestline died Sunday afternoon, April 27, 2003 at his home. He was born March 19, 1929 in White County, Arkansas. Until his retirement, he was employed as an investment broker. He was a member of the Unitarian Universalist Christian Church. Doc received his Bachelor's degree in finance from the University of Washington. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Crossland Doyle; a daughter, Marilyn Morrin of San Diego, California; a son and daughter-in-law, Rodger Philip and Grace Doyle of Santa Rosa, California; two grandsons, Donald Morrin of San Diego and Daniel Morrin of Lakeside, California; two granddaughters, Rana Doyle and Kendra Doyle, both of Santa Rosa, California; two sisters-in-law and their spouses, Ida and Roger Arehart of Lexington and Nancy and Gene Hylton of Ontario; and four brothers-in-law and their spouses, Jim and Sandy Crossland of Ontario, John and Dottie Crossland of Marion, Ohio, Andy and Jeanne Crossland of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania and Pete and Karinne Crossland of Baltimore, Maryland. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Buss Wadley, C.J. Wadley, and Kenneth Wadley.
Friends may call one hour prior to memorial services Saturday, May 3 at 2:00 p.m. at the Gospel Baptist Church, 5670 St. Rt. 19, Galion, Ohio conducted by Rev. Paul Lintern. Memorial contributions may be made to North Central Ohio Hospice. The Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors assisted the family with arrangements.
