Mary Bare

Mary Elizabeth Bare, 86, of Mansfield, died Monday, August 11, 2008, at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital. Born August 13, 1921, in Mansfield, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Christina Guetle Hallabrin. She was an area homemaker her entire life and enjoyed spending time at the YMCA. Her love for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren will live on in their memories forever.

She is survived by three children, Tedd E. Jeanine Bare, Jr. of Mansfield, Tina Mike Mears of Butler and Janie James Wendling of Raleigh, NC; grandchildren, Brian Bare, Wendy Van Niel, Mark, Matthew and Michael Police, Ritch and Nick Wendling and Kristin Rosario; fourteen great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Mrs. John D. Margaret Hallabrin and Mrs. Joseph Kathrine Hallabrin, all of Mansfield; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tedd E. Bare, Sr., four brothers and four sisters.

Friends may call from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, August 14 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Memorial services will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home with Angie Messner officiating. Burial will follow in Mansfield Catholic Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice in memory of Mary Bare.
