

Mary was born August 20, 1943, in Mansfield, Ohio, the only child of the late David Clyde "D.C" and Laura E. (Brown) Donley. She was a private, quiet "lady" in every sense of the word. She graduated from Ashland University in 1966 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Work. During her years at Ashland University, she was a member of Beta Sigma Phi and the Chapter Ohio Torch Bearer Delta Zeta for 50 years. Mary was very interested in helping her community achieve great success and enjoyed representing Ashland City Council as a member for over 50 years.
She immensely enjoyed traveling and visited many places including: Israel, Ireland, Portugal, the Panama Canal and many areas of the United States. Mary was a member of Mansfield Alliance Church. She lovingly supported many charities with her generosity throughout her lifetime. Mary kept her faith as a guiding light through all of life's decisions and was a devoted friend to many.
Mary is survived by her good friend, Jeneane Kindinger of Lexington, Ohio.
Visitation will be held from 9:00-10:00 a.m. Friday, May 11, 2018, at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Ave. The funeral service will immediately follow at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Dallas E. Waggle officiating. Beta Sigma Phi will present an honor ceremony during the service. She will be laid to rest in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
