Mary L. Dosier, 87, of Mansfield, died Friday, June 2, 2006 at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital. Born September 6, 1918 in Greenbrier County, West Virginia, she was the daughter of Eschol and Bessie Taylor. She had previously worked with 'Say No to Drugs' and was the neighborhood collector for the American Cancer Society. Mrs. Dosier loved her grandchildren, gardening, knitting, crocheting, and cooking.
She is survived by five children, Fran Carbone of Blacklick, Cathern Dean Booze of Ontario, Loretta Scarbrough of Mansfield, Charles Carolyn Dosier of Ontario, and Lynn Daniel Groth of Bucyrus; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; and one sister, Catherine Supthin of Van, West Virginia. She was preceded in death by her husband, Austin Dosier; parents; and son, Lee Austin Dosier.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, June 5, 2006 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors conducted by Rev. Faith Proietti. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to MedCentral Hospice.
