

Mary Opal (Haney) Fraley, 79, of Johnstown, passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at Mount Carmel St. Ann's Hospital. She died peacefully surrounded by her family. She was born February 5, 1934 in Carter County, Kentucky to the late Faitha Mae (Worthington) and James Herbert Haney.
Mary had many interests, but her greatest joy came from her family. Nothing gave her more pleasure than being surrounded by her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by six children, Charles (Dawn) Fraley of Mansfield, James "Michael" (Julie) Fraley, Tamara Fraley, David Fraley and Jason Fraley, all of Johnstown and Joseph (Amy) Fraley of Granville, OH; ten grandchildren, Daniel (Amanda) Fraley, Lauren Fraley, both of Mansfield, Justin Fraley, Joshua (Brett) Fraley and Joseph Fraley, all of Columbus, David Fraley, Lilly Fraley and Jace Fraley, all of Granville, Courtney Phelps and Cody Phelps, both of Johnstown; two great-granddaughters, Kaelyn and Annabelle Fraley; and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by Barbra Ann Doran, a special niece who her children can't thank enough for the wonderful day to day care, companionship and good humor she brought to Mary during her long illness. She was preceded in death her parents; two brothers, Bill Phipps and Charles Herbert Haney; and two sisters, Hazel Margaret Burchett and Sally W. Smith.
There will be no services or visitation at this time. Burial will be in Bellville Cemetery at a later date. Wappner Funeral Directors is privileged to serve the family of Mary Fraley.
