Mary Ann was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and sister and she always welcomed everyone in need into her heart and home. She had incredible strength, passion and virtue but also pain. She loved a good time and was always the life of the party and never apologized for being who she was. Some people come into this world destined to battle demons, others only have nightmares about them. She was such a warrior and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband and soulmate, Jim Lawhorn; three children, Kimberly "Jessi" Parsons, Amy "Jenni" Gerhart and Cameron Lawhorn; six grandchildren; sisters, Shannon and Betty; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Dakota.
There will be no services. Wappner Cremation Center is privileged to serve the family of Mary Lawhorn.
