Mary Wyrick

Mary Frederick Simpson Wyrick, 83, of Mansfield, died Monday, July 10, 2006 at Oak Grove Manor. Born December 12, 1922 in Mansfield, she was the daughter of Martin and Sophia Scherick Frederick. She was a member of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her husband, Lloyd Wyrick; two sons and daughters-in-law, Louis and Sheryl Simpson of Cincinnati, and Dr. Rev. Russell and Joanne Simpson of Galion; daughter and son-in-law, Aleta and Lee Robertson of Pensacola, Florida; step son, Gene Wyrick of Hopewell; five grandchildren; four step grandchildren; 19 step great-grandchildren; and three step great-great-grandchildren; and one brother and sister-in-law, Jacob and Marie Frederick of Bellville. She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Lena Margel, Elizabeth Hartung, and Eva Hubner; and three brothers, John, Anthony, and Steven Frederick.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 15, 2006 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors conducted by Dr. Rev. Russell Simpson of Galion Grace Brethren Church and Pastor Diane Seaton of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. Friends may call two hours prior to the service, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.
