Born August 26, 1930 in Mansfield, Ohio, she was the proud daughter of the late Harold and Helen (White) Beech of Mansfield, Ohio. She was a graduate of Mansfield Senior High School as an Art Major, employed through the high school vocational program,by the M. O’Neils Company as a window dresser, and created artist advertising by hand. Maryjane was a lifelong resident of Mansfield dedicated to raising her children and retired after years in retail management. She then spent her time charting her families long line of genealogy from the Mayflower to the American Revolution with a deep respect for the origins of this country and pursuing it’s Native American influences. Maryjane was a free thinking individual who was an ardent lover of early jazz, 60’s music movement, and truly an original Beatles fan. Though an amazing artist in sketch, oil and watercolors, she also enjoyed great films, writing and robust politics. She most especially loved telling stories of her time growing up in Mansfield and of her early years prepping and flying biplanes with her father, Harold. Maryjane was an independent, intellectually minded person and a conscientious member of the human race. She believed in individuality, civil rights, compassionate humanities, and had a ‘perfect pitch’ for dry wit.

(Linda) Carbetta of Ashland, and Remo Carbetta of Mansfield; grandchildren, Matthew (Stephanie) Carbetta and Brian (Veronica) Carbetta, both of Columbus, Reina Carbetta of Orlando, FL, Dustin (Rachel) of North Carolina, and Whitney Smith, Jhan Smith, Bergen Smith, and Ciera Carbetta, all of Mansfield; five great grandchildren; sister, Patricia Bennett of New Jersey; brother, Thomas K.
