Massiah King'Akai Taylor

Born July 14, 2018, in Mansfield, Ohio, he was the son of Tyrice Akai Taylor and Jamie Heather Haynes. Although on this earth for a short time, Massiah was deeply loved by everyone and he filled their hearts with joy and love.

Massiah is survived by his loving parents, Tyrice Akai Taylor and Jamie Heather Haynes; four sisters who adored him, Ciarrah Carter, Ty'zierre Taylor, Riannah Haynes and Trinity Taylor; godmother, Lora Carr; maternal grandparents, Lucinda and Bobby Haynes; paternal grandparents, Bridgette Taylor and Freddie Sams; and numerous extended family members. He is preceded in death by his maternal great-grandparents, Ollie and Bobby Haynes and Priscilla Painter; paternal great-great grandparents, Lou and Spearmin Transou and Susie and Bobby Sams.

The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Monday, August 6, 2018, at New Community Temple Church of God in Christ, 338 Harker St., Mansfield. A home going service will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Henry J. Bradley, Jr. officiating. He will be laid to rest in Mansfield Cemetery. The family requests that no one wear black to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. The Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is privileged to serve the family.
