Maxine Frye

Maxine D. Frye, 88, of Mansfield, died Sunday morning, November 2, 2014 at her home. She was born October 17, 1926, in Mansfield, Ohio, to the late Grace (Miller) and Phillip Leffler. She retired in 1989 from Sprint where she worked in the office. Maxine's family was her life and she was the best mom anyone could ask for.

She is survived by a son, Tom (Ruth) Frye of Mansfield; two daughters, Tammy Copley and Terry Kirkpatrick, both of Mansfield; two grandchildren, Tristina Logan of Columbus and Taryn Berry of Lexington; four great-grandchildren, Keelie, Kadan, Karson and Grayson; and a nephew, Jackie Leffler. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Leffler.

The family will receive friends beginning at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 5, 2014 in the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St., Mansfield, followed by the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. Burial in Mansfield Cemetery will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to MedCentral Hospice, 335 Glessner Avenue, Mansfield, OH 44903.
