

Born March 15, 1929 in Shelby, Ohio she was the daughter of Allen G. and Lenora (Foltz) Boutwell. A longtime resident of Mansfield, Merilyn retired from United Telephone after 45 years of service. She was a member of First Christian Church and the Mid-Ohio Pioneers. Merilyn had many interests including baking, sewing, reading, playing cards, music, dancing and singing, traveling and collecting penguins which was evident by her diverse collection of them, but her greatest joy in life were her grandchildren. A very devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her children, Linda (Ron) Lowery and Brian (Tracey) Kiley; her grandchildren, Quinn, Ben, Dylan, Alex, Cicely and Samantha; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Kiley whom she married August 19, 1956; two brothers, Edwin and Fredrick; and two sisters, Lucille and Abigail.
The family wishes to give many thanks to the Angels at MedCentral Hospice who took great care of her.
Per Merilyn’s request, there will be no calling hours or services at this time. Burial will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to MedCentral Hospice. Wappner Funeral Directors is privileged to serve the family of Merilyn J. Kiley.
