
Michael 'Adam' Massey, 27, of Willard, Ohio died unexpectedly Thursday evening, September 25, 2003, as a result of an automobile accident. Adam was born February 8, 1976 in Mansfield, Ohio, living in Willard the past four years. He was employed with Sabin Robbins and was a member of the Willard Church of God. Adam enjoyed drawing, playing guitar, singing and video games.
He is survived by his wife, Gina Lillo Massey; a stepson, Andrew Corbin of Port Clinton, Ohio; a son, Scotty Evans of Florida; a daughter, Tiffany Bletz of Mansfield; a brother, Robert DeWeese of Mansfield; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Melissa & Todd Schnittke of Mansfield and Terri Massey of Akron; his father, Gary Massey; mother and stepfather, Brenda & Robert DeWeese of Mansfield; paternal grandmother, Clara Burgess and her husband, Bob of Mansfield; uncles and their spouses, Steve & Wanda Massey, Doug Massey, John & Becky Massey and Charles Joe Kegley; aunts and their spouses, Shirley & Dennie Hall, Bernice & Ted Hardy, Wanda Hunt, Carol & Dickie Carver and Gale & Joe Holmes; and three nieces and a nephew. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Hack & Bea Kegley; and paternal grandfather, John H. Massey Jr.
Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Sunday from 2-6 p.m. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home conducted by Rev. Chad Honaker. Burial will follow in Springmill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Bellevue Church of God.
