For Michael
Welcome Home
I dreamed I went on a journey
I was happy as can be
I was smiling and walking
Oh, I was so pain free
My time here is almost over
I'll soon join those gone on
before
I'll have my new body
and suffering will be no more
Yes, I had a rough time
while on this old earth here
but it was worth
everything
for my mansion I have
over there
Now as I cross on over
and am changed to brand new
I'll hear the angels say
Welcome home Michael
we have been waiting on you
So please don't weep for me
if only you could have
seen how happy I was
when I saw Jesus coming
for me.
By Sarah Joy Townsend, Michael's loving cousin.
