

Mildred L. Branham, 83, of Mansfield, died early Saturday morning, August 21, 2004 at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital after an extended illness. She was born June 1, 1921 to Charles M. and Melinda Thomas Conaway and was a Mansfield area resident since 1951. She retired from Ohio Brass after 32 years. Mildred volunteered for Habitat for Humanity and also logged over 1000 volunteer hours at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital. She enjoyed gardening and butterflies.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, A. Kit and Agnes Branham of Butler; sister-in-law, Sherry Branham-Foltz of Lexington; brother-in-law, Douglas Branham of Clio, Michigan; four granddaughters, Diana Perry, Joanie McLaughlin, Allyn McEwan, and Jean Leedy; a grandson, Tim McGonagil; seven great-grandchildren; and a special granddaughter, Robyn Sgambellone. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Arthur Branham on November 30, 1988, one brother and one sister.
Funeral services will be held Monday, August 23 at 2:00 p.m. at the Ontario home of Wappner Funeral Directors, officiated by Rev. Cloyd Kress. Friends may call at the funeral home beginning at 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow in Ontario Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the ALS Lou Gehrig's Disease Association.
