

Milford "Ace" Bailey, 81, of Mansfield, passed away on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Arbors of Mifflin. Ace was born on July 16, 1937 in Delaware, Ohio, the son of Milford A. and Grace (Mussard) Bailey.
Determined, hardworking, and all around jokester could certainly describe Ace. A devoted family man, Ace loved his family. His wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were the absolute love of his life. He was a graduate of barber college and cut everyone's hair including his children. Ace was a veteran of the United States Army, stationed in Germany where he drove a tank. He enjoyed playing cards, putting puzzles together, bowling, and reading. He was a lover of the outdoors, he especially loved fishing at Clearfork and hunting.
Ace leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Nancy (Beard) Bailey; daughters, Allyson Ramsey and Melissa (Mark) Wilson; son, David Bailey; grandchildren, Glenn Bond III., Ashley (Josh) Enright, and Brandon Bond; great-grandchildren, Landen Walters, Halle Bond, Jaxon Bond, Carter, Amiya, Christopher, and Lyla Enright; brothers, Steve and Edward Bailey; nieces, nephews, and other relatives, Esther Mathney, Daphne Lowry, Mark Oaks, Bobbi Jo Bailey, David Bailey, Sabrina Darnell, Regina Williams, Mandy Hedricks, and Janice McGill.
Ace was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Lawrence Bailey; a sister, Grace Metcalf, and a son-in-law, Pete Ramsey.
Family and friends may visit Friday, December 21, 2018 from 4:00-6:00 pm at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington Springmill Road. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 10:00 am. Burial will follow with full military honors at Oak Grove Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
