

Nellie Virginia (Carroll) Trebacz, 96, of Mansfield, passed away Thursday, November 22, 2018, at her home. She was born November 25, 1921, in Carter County, Kentucky, to the late Jeremiah and Nanny (Bowling) Carroll.
She was born and raised in Kentucky. Nellie was a businesswoman and owner/operator of Zig's Dairy Queen, Lincoln Inn and Christmas House. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed hosting family holiday dinners. Her flower garden was a showpiece. Spending time with her grandchildren was her favorite activity.
Nellie enjoyed playing Bingo and traveling. Some of her travels took her to NASCAR races which she immensely enjoyed.
She is survived by four children, Carroll (Yoshiko) Henderson, John (Dianna) Henderson, Linda Hoffman and Mary Cantleberry; eight grandchildren, Matthew Henderson, Melody (Russell) Stevens, Marilyn Craft, John Henderson, Lee (Jennifer) Henderson, Mary (Steve) Rogers, Amy (Chris) Glass and Elizabeth Lambert; many great-grandchildren; numerous great-great grandchildren; a sister, Phyllis McCall; several nieces and nephews; and good friend, Minnie Carper. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by seven siblings, Francis, Eva Ruth, Esther, JoAnn, Travis, Henry D. and Jerry Frank; and a son-in-law, Glenn Cantleberry.
The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 26, 2018, at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Rd. The funeral service will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. She will be laid to rest in Mansfield Memorial Park.
