

Nickolas Miu, 79, of Mansfield died unexpectedly Monday, January 10, 2005, at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital. Born February 16, 1925, in Mansfield, he was the son of John and Katherine Duma Miu. Before he went home to be with the Lord, he retired from the Madison School District where he was a Vocational Electronics teacher and also taught the same at Mansfield Senior High School for over 20 years. He was an active 25-year member of Community Baptist Bible Church. He was active in Amateur Radio with station callsign KC8MYZ.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Gilliom Miu of Mansfield; two sons and daughters-in-law, Nick and Nancy Miu of Marlette, Michigan, and Rick and Debbie Miu of Lexington, Ohio; one daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Bob Bast of Plymouth; six grandchildren, Jeremy Miu, Jackie Everson, Christy Anderson, Jill Knuth, Laura Bast and Robbie Bast; three great grandchildren; two step great grandchildren; one sister, Eva Foster of Shelby, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, John Miu.
Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors on Thursday, January 13, 2005 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. at the Community Baptist Bible Church with Pastor Joe Esarey and Pastor Larry Myerchin officiating. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Jeff and Traci Garrison Missionary Fund of the church.
