

Norma enjoyed being as homemaker while also working as a housekeeper at Mansfield General from 1980-1991. She loved to take long drives to see the country, plant flowers, and doing word searches. Norma enjoyed baking with her specialty being potato candy. She also enjoyed attending church and garage sales and craft shows. A kind hearted woman, Norma had a good sense of humor and loved spending time with her grandchildren. The family would like to send a special thank you to MedCentral Hospice for their care of Norma.
She is survived by her children, Ralph W. (Deborah) Thomas, Cynthia (Ron) Hall, and Candy Thomas; grandchildren, Jeremy Thomas, Jill (Curt) Balas, Jamie (Steve) Zellner, Ashley (Matt) Barich, Stephen Hall, Amanda (Brian) Wright-Bond, and Sara Wright (Terry Ormes); 13 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, whom she married on October 20, 1946, Ralph C. Thomas in 1989; son, Wayne Thomas; grandson, Mario Hall; and sisters, Virginia Black and Maxine Daniels.
Friends may call Wednesday, February 15, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Rd., Ontario. Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 16, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home conducted by Pastor Michael G. Rogers. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to MedCentral Hospice.
