Obadiah Wade

Obadiah J. Wade, 70, died Sunday, October 12, 2008 at Hospice House in Ashland. Born October 25, 1937, in Mansfield, he was the son of Obadiah Kimberly Wade and Flossie Fay Wade. He was formerly employed at Cement Products. Obadiah loved fishing and his best companion was his dog, Chappy. He enjoyed spending his free time with his best friend, Alice Roseberry. He will be remembered as a kind hearted, loving person and sharing memories with his children.

He is survived by his five children, Obadiah Wade III, Vicki Lynn Douglas Alexander, Randal Allen Christa Wade, Rena Justin MacTavish, all of Mansfield and Bradley Gene Anna Wade of Crestline; sixteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Charles Delores Wade of Mansfield; and a sister, Ellen Fay Louie Martin of Mansfield. Preceding him in death were his parents, son, Donald Ray Wade and several brothers and sisters.
