
Pamela Ellen Sexton, 58, of Shiloh, died Thursday, July 7, 2011 at MedCentral Mansfield. Born February 15, 1953 in Ashland, she was the daughter of John and Mary A. Glass Boals. She had worked for Abbott Laboratory in the quality control department and was an avid reader. She loved to go to garage sales and adored her pets which she referred to as "Pam's Zoo".
She is survived by two daughters, Michele Scott of Greenwich and Mary Sexton of Shiloh; a son, Eddie Angy Alkire of West Salem; six grandchildren, Krystal Alkire, Dakota Alkire, Christopher Scott, Ezekiel Sexton, Rachel Alkire and David Hanson; two great grandchildren, Braydon Alkire and Trevyn Ubel; a sister, Diana Larry Dudley of Ashland; four brothers, John R. Boals of Salem, OR, James Emma Boals of Ashland, Charlie Boals of Widowville, OH and Ronald Tarcy Boals of Ashland; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Sharon Boals.
Memorial funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at the Ashland Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 308 Claremont Avenue, Ashland conducted by Pam's family and friends. A gathering for her family and friends will be held two hours prior to the memorial service, from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m., at the funeral home on Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
