Pamela Vogel

Pamela Kay Walker Pursley Vogel, 41, of Mansfield died Thursday, February 20, 2003 at MedCentral Mansfield. Mrs. Vogel was born June 8, 1961 in Mansfield, Ohio living in the area all of her life. She graduated from Ontario High School in 1979 where she was a cheerleading mascot and flag girl. She loved dancing, especially line dancing. She attended Ontario Methodist Church. Pam was a loving mother and a fun-loving person.

She is survived by a son, Matt Pursley; a daughter, Jerica Pursley; her parents, Donald & Alice Walker of Mansfield; a brother and sister-in-law, Bob & Mattie Walker of Mansfield; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Janie & Tad Thornton of Mansfield and Vicki & Vaughn Ford of Lexington; her first husband, Gerald Pursley; second husband, Kyle Vogel; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; and special friend, Brenda Schluter. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Harry Gordon; and paternal grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Chester Walker.

Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Sunday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home conducted by Pastor T.J. Waters. Burial will follow at Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made in care of the family.
