Patricia Ann Beer

Patricia Ann Beer, 68, of Mansfield, died Friday, October 30, 2015 at OhioHealth MedCentral Mansfield. Born May 8, 1947 in Spangler, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of Elmer and Lucille (Hill) Wilson.

She was a 1965 graduate of Malabar High School. Patricia worked mostly in retail with her last place of employment being at Weekly's from which she retired. She loved playing the piano and had attended and played the piano for Lincoln Heights Baptist Church and Cook Road Baptist Church. Along with her sister, Peggy, she also sang in the choir at the churches. She also enjoyed painting and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Ashland. Patricia was gifted in many ways and she loved the Lord with all her heart.

She is survived by her husband, Phil Beer whom she married October 12, 1968; two sons, Pete (Lauren) Beer and Steve (Colleen) Beer; two grandchildren, Liam and Sullivan Beer; her mother, Lucille Wilson; a sister and brother-in-law, Peggy and Les Frontz; a brother and sister-in-law, Stan and Melinda Beer; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father and a son, Larry Allen Beer.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 6, 2015 at Calvary Baptist Church, 210 North Davis Road, Ashland. Burial will follow in Lantz Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service, from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m., at the church on Friday. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
