Patricia Evans

Patricia Louise Evans, 81, of Mansfield, died Sunday, July 03, 2011 at MedCentral Mansfield. She was born October 30, 1929 in Parnassus, PA to Eugene and Juanita Ackinclose Brokaw. Patricia retired as a medical receptionist for Drs. Belt and Clements. An avid sports fan she loved the Buckeyes, Browns, Indians, and NASCAR's Dale Jr. In her younger years, she was also a champion bowler. The matriarch of her family, she was the caregiver for her husband, Eric, until her illness. Patricia also enjoyed knitting and crocheting for her children and grandchildren. She even made baby blankets for her yet to be born great grandchildren. Family was very important to Patricia, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Eric Evans of Mansfield; children, David Kacy Alexander of Corpus Christi, TX, Barbara Ron Jenne of Columbus, Tom Rhonda Evans of Ontario, and daughter, Tracee Josh Bradley of Ontario; grandchildren, Robyn Johnny Waller, Allyson Jenne, Jason Perry, Joshua Perry, Ashlee Cory Renyard, Eric Evans, Josh Amy Bradley, and Aaron Bradley; 11 great grandchildren; sister, Wanda Jeffrey of Mansfield and Norma Canel of Cambridge; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends may call Tuesday, July 5, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington Springmill Rd., Ontario. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home conducted by Randy Allen. Burial will follow in Windsor Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the James Cancer Center.
