Patricia A. O`Neil

Patricia A. O'Neil, age 75, passed away Wednesday evening, December 20, 2017, at Avita Ontario Hospital. She was born July 24, 1942, in Mansfield, Ohio, to the late John and Mildred (Etzwiler) Lelle, Sr.

Pat was an area homemaker and devoted her life to her husband and four children. She lovingly tended to their needs and showered them with love and affection. Her wonderful cooking was enjoyed by all. Through her actions, Pat taught her children the values of being determined, competitive, adventurous, courageous and, most importantly, generous. She freely gave of her time and talent to everyone she knew. Pat enjoyed being a babysitter for family and friends and caregiver to all who were in need.

Pat was an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed playing games and Bingo. In her free time, she enjoyed fishing and driving in her son's golf cart. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church and had many friends she considered family.

Left behind to cherish her memory are Pat's children, James Jr. (Sylvia) O'Neil of Kent, WA, Bonnie (Donald) Cheek of Ontario, Michael (Colleen) O'Neil of Ontario, Debra (Ken) Kraft of Columbus; eight grandchildren, Tina (Chris) Jones, James (Robyn) O'Neil, Ben (Melissa) Cheek, Kaynon (Lauren) Cheek, Christian Cheek, Hunter Kraft, Parker Kraft and Brady Kraft; three great-grandchildren, Macie Hamilton, Brody Cheek and Auden Cheek; and great friends, Jeanette Koenig, Patsy Rowland and her son, John.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, James O'Neil Sr.; and brother, John Lelle.

The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 23, 2017, at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road. The memorial service conducted by Pastor John Stevens and Pastor Kevin Evans will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m.
