

Patricia Ann Pagani 'Patty', 44, of Centerburg, Ohio died unexpectedly at her home Saturday morning, March 20, 2004. Mrs. Pagani was born October 13, 1959 in Mansfield, Ohio to Lester Vernon & Betty Lou Shields Thompson. She was an office administrator for Montoya's Quality Roofing and was active with the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life. Patty enjoyed gardening, boating and fishing at Lake Erie and had a great love of life.
She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Bob Pagani 'Pigatelli' of Centerburg; two sons, Bobby Jo Pagani of Columbus and Ricky Vernon Pagani at home; her parents, Lester Vernon & Betty Lou Thompson; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Junior & Val Thompson 'Butchie' of West Milton, Ohio and Mikie & Sarah Thompson 'Broth' of Mansfield; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Debra Lynn & Rob Robinson of Anchorage, Alaska and Brenda Kay & James Alan Stoots 'Middie Sis' of Mansfield; seven nieces and nephews, Johnny Ray Thompson, Kenny Thompson, Ronnie Robinson Jr., Anna Marie Robinson, Cheryl Robinson, Karrie Ann Whitmore 'Sis' and Kelly Stoots 'BooBoo'; two great nieces and nephews, Brittany Michelle and Garret Whitmore 'Chubs'; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and very close friends including her best friend, Sue Hendrix 'Nanny Goat'. She was preceded in death by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Richard & Helen Pagani; maternal grandparents, Harry & Bessie Shields; paternal grandparents, Anna Mary & Estill Thompson; and several aunts and uncles.
Family and friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home conducted by Rev. Virgil Masters and Rev. Earl Tackett. Burial will follow in Springmill Cemetery.
