
Patricia Seifert, 63, of Mansfield, died Thursday, August 19, 2004 at Sterling House following a brief illness. She was born July 18, 1941, in Norwalk, to the late Charles and Atossa Heinzerling Seifert. Patricia graduated from Norwalk High School, Capital University and Ashland College. She was employed over 30 years as a music teacher for Madison Schools. A member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, she served as choir director and soloist, was a prayer group leader and founder of the Prayer Shawl Ministry. She was a member of the Mansfield, Ashland, and Lakeside Symphony Orchestras, as well as the Mansfield choir society. The family would like to thank the caring staff at Sterling House and her many special friends for their compassion and dedication.
She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Linda Seifert of Frisco, Texas; two nieces and their spouses, Diane and Kenneth Murphy of Boise, Idaho, and Cynthia and Rick Elsenbach of Broadalbin, New York; a nephew and his wife, Charles III and Debbie Seifert of Ballston Spa, New York; eight great-nieces and nephews; and three step-nieces and nephews.
The family will have a graveside memorial service at 10:00 a.m., September 11, 2004 at Woodlawn Cemetery in Norwalk. Wappner Funeral Directors assisted the family with arrangements.
