

Paul L. Frye, Sr., 80, of Mansfield, died Thursday, September 01, 2011 at his residence following an extended illness. Born June 5, 1931 in Logan, West Virginia, he was the son of Seburn and Georgia Frye. He retired from Crane Plumbing after 37 years of service and enjoyed hunting and fishing in his younger days. A loving father and grandfather, Paul enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren as his family was his life.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Helen (Patton) Frye; a daughter, Debbie Frye of Mansfield; a son, Paul Frye, Jr. of Mansfield; grandchildren, Kesha Frye, Melissa Webb, Dustin Frye, Kaylee Bashline, Ashley Carter, Alexis Baxter, Levi Cross and Trae Taylor; four brothers, Samuel Frye, Troy Frye, Garner Frye all of West Virginia and Lowell Frye of Chicago; two sisters, Marie Frye and Janice Jones both of West Virginia; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Autumn Carter; two brothers, Waitman and Matthew Frye; and a sister, Dorothy Carter.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Rd, Ontario conducted by Pastor Jeffrey Gray and Pastor Scott Compton. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home on Tuesday. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park.
