

Paul M. Grossman, 79, of Mansfield passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, April 9, 2017 after a short illness surrounded by family and friends at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital. Born February 24, 1938 to Paul M. and Freeda I. (Kaufman) Grossman in Johnsville, OH.
Paul was employed with General Motors Corporation for 29 years and served in the United States Air Force. He enjoyed spending time with his family and loved working on cars. His hobbies were drag racing and go cart racing. He was a lifelong member of Ridgeway First Church of God.
Paul is survived by his wife, Ramona Grossman of Mansfield; his son, Bradley (Dee) Grossman of Mansfield; his daughters, Pamela (Vincent) Ash of Butler, and Sheila (Roger) Sims of Ontario; his brother, Richard (Lois) Grossman of Johnsville; his grandchildren, David Grossman (Stephanie), Steven Shank, Shaina Shank (James), McKala (Trevor) Moreland, Kierstin Grossman (Bobby), and Cody Ash (Madison); his great-grandchildren, Breanna Moreland, Taylor Grossman, Lucy Moreland, Trevor Moreland Jr.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents Paul is preceded in death by his daughter, Brenda Lee Grossman; two sisters, Genevieve Boudinot and Doris McAbee; and a great grandchild, Baby Moreland.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Ridgeway First Church of God, 1380 State Route 430, Mansfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the family for funeral expenses. The Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is pleased to serve the Grossman family.
