Paul had worked for General Motors and also as a carpenter. He was a member of the Carpenters Union, was past Worthy President of the Shelby Eagles, was past President of the Sons of the American Legion and was a Trustee of the Shelby Moose Lodge.
Paul loved playing golf, fishing for Walleye and Perch at Lake Erie and playing Euchre on Friday's with friends and family. He was a fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Indians.
He is survived by two sons, Chad (Deena) Pfahler and Rodney (Victoria) Pfahler; his grandchildren, Rodney Pfahler, Jr., Christian Pfahler, Kyle Rhodes, Austin Rhodes and Aaron Rhodes; a brother, Tom Pfahler; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sharon Louise Karneth.
There will be no services at this time.
