Pauline Duncan

Pauline Duncan, 83, of Mansfield, died early Tuesday morning, December 13, 2005, at Crestline Nursing Home. Born December 18, 1921, in Carter County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of McKinley and Delia Jones Brinegar. She was formerly employed as a scrub nurse with People's Hospital. Mrs. Duncan was a member of Ontario United Methodist Church and enjoyed gardening.

She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Hursie and Judy Duncan, Jr. of Crestline, Ronald and Barbara Duncan of Denver, Colorado, Tony and Jackie Duncan of Mansfield; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson; sister, Joann Kiser of Mansfield; and brother, Ora Brinegar of Mansfield. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Hursie Duncan, Sr. in April 2000, two sisters, Christine Sparks and Elizabeth Culp, and two brothers, Leroy and Elwood Brinegar.

Funeral services will be held at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, Friday, December 16 at 3:00 p.m., officiated by Dr. Clair H. Hess. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Ontario United Methodist Church.
