
Pauline P. Kennedy, 88, of Mansfield, died January 10, 2008 at Rosewood Manor. She went home to be with the Lord Thursday morning. Born January 22, 1919 in Mansfield, she was the daughter of William and Francis Kline Miller. She was employed at Therm-O-Disc for 20 years and was also a piano teacher. She was a member of First Church of the Brethren and served as the church organist since age 15. She taught Sunday school and sang in the church choir. Pauline enjoyed attending church conferences all over the United States and was always doing for other people.
She is survived by a daughter, Darlene Larry Lambert of Caledonia; son, Vincent Kennedy of Mansfield; three grandchildren, Starlia Bandy and Christy Grey, both of Mansfield and Larry Lambert; three nieces, Janet Fields, Diana Tuggey and Christy Robinson; and nephew, Bill Miller. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent Kennedy in 2002; her parents; two sisters, Mary Etta Wright and Dorothy McCammon; and brother, John Miller.
Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Sunday, January 13 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be Monday at 1:00 p.m. at the First Church of the Brethren with Pastor Linda Lewis and Pastor Clyde Frye. Burial will follow in Franklin Church Cemetery.
