Peggy Lou Watkins, 66, of Mansfield, died Saturday, March 29, 2008, at her residence. Born August 2, 1941, in Monroeville, Ohio, she was the daughter of Harold L. and Dorothy N. Myers Rhoades. She was an avid sports fan of many different teams which included the Dallas Cowboys. Peggy also loved baseball with Kenny Lofton being her favorite player. A homemaker, she enjoyed being with her dogs and her cat, Gizmo.
Surviving are her children, Kevin Watkins, Kenneth Watkins, Tim Watkins and Robin Watkins; her grandchildren, Chelsie Lantz, Kellie Watkins and Kyle Watkins; a brother, John Rhoades; and a sister, Jo Gennero. She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Watkins and her parents.
A Gathering of Remembrance for family and friends will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 9, 2008, at the Therm-O-Disc Park Recreation Center, 1320 S. Main Street, Mansfield. Wappner Funeral Directors is privileged to serve the family of Peggy Lou Watkins.
