
Phillip Bradley Cline, 49, of Mansfield, died unexpectedly Sunday, January 29, 2006 at his home. Born February 21, 1956 in Mt. Vernon, he was the son of Robert Dean Cline and Elsie L. Lepley Cline-DeMarinis. He was the co-owner/operator of Marli Cline Homes. Mr. Cline was a member of Westwood Alliance Church. He worked as a DJ in the Mt. Vernon-Mansfield area for 12 years under the name of 'Dr. Rock', and also served as a policeman in Bellville for six years. Mr. Cline devoted his time to individuals of the Richland Newhope Center, had a huge record collection, and enjoyed collecting guns.
He is survived by his wife, Marli M. Maraz Cline of Mansfield, whom he married March 23, 2001; one son, Michael Robert, who was the love of his life; one brother and sister-in-law, Michael D. and Karen Cline of Ontario; mother, Elsie L. Lepley Cline-DeMarinis and her husband, Donald of Mansfield; father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Olga Maraz of Mansfield; two sisters-in-law, Nanci Rickels of Mansfield, and Marisa Assis of Columbus; two brothers-in-law and their wives, Jerry and Dee Maraz of Ontario, and Mark and Barb of Bellville; seven nieces and nephews; and numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father.
Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, February 3, 2006 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home conducted by Pastor Doyle Peyton. Burial will follow in Mt. Vernon Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made in the name of Michael Robert Cline.
