Randall Brown, Sr.

Randall 'Randy' K. Brown, Sr., 58, of Mansfield, died Thursday, August 30, 2007. Randy passed away at his home surrounded by his family following a long illness. Born August 16, 1949 in Portsmouth, he was the son of William T. and Ella M. Horner Brown. He worked for Dofasco Copperweld as a furnace operator. Mr. Brown was a member of Wyandotte Free Will Baptist Church. A member of the NRA and the Crawford County Coon Hunters Club, he enjoyed fishing, collecting guns, and NASCAR.

He is survived by his wife, Glad Webb Brown of Mansfield; two sons, Randall K. Brown, Jr., and Robert W. Reed, both of Mansfield; three grandchildren, Randall K. Brown III, Kaylee R. Brown, and Luke D. Brown; two brothers, William E. Brown and Paul R. Brown, both of Mansfield; five sisters, Ella M. Schoonover of Mansfield, Wilma Marvel of California, Carolyn Pendelton of Mansfield, Sue Bradshaw of Mansfield, and Phyllis Cook of West Virginia; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Michael E. Brown; and sister, Wanda Brown.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, September 3, 2007 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Wyandotte Free Will Baptist Church conducted by Pastor Brian Phillips. Burial will follow in Windsor Park Cemetery.
