
Richard W. Boling, 73, of Mansfield died Wednesday morning, October 10, 2001 at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital after a long illness. Mr. Boling was born November 13, 1927, in Mansfield to Eugene B. and Blanche I. Carnahan Boling. He retired from White-Westinghouse where he worked as a foreman in the paint shop. He attended the First English Lutheran Church and was a member of Mansfield Masonic Lodge #35 F & AM. He was a veteran of WWII serving with the US Navy.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Harter Boling; two daughters and sons-in-law, Michelle 'Mickie' & Steve Chelski and Cynthia & Rick Sjostedt all of Mansfield; one granddaughter, Allison Chelski; sister and brother-in-law, Mary Lou & Mel Grimm of Yuma, Arizona; in-laws, Shirley Boling, Norman & Fran Pore and Patricia Myers all of Mansfield and Betty Newlon of Arizona; and many nieces and nephews. His parents, Eugene & Blanche Boling, and brother, Robert Boling preceded him in death.
Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Friday, October 12 from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. Masonic services will be conducted at 8:30 p.m. Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday at First English Lutheran Church conducted by Rev. Paul Larson. Burial will be in First English Lutheran Church Columbarium. Memorial contributions may be made to MedCentral Hospice/Home Health Care.
