

Richard L. McWilliams, 75, of Mansfield, died Tuesday afternoon, June 8, 2004 at Kindred House following an extended illness. He was born April 3, 1929, in Marion, Ohio to Edward and Cloe McWilliams and was a Mansfield area resident most of his life. Until his retirement, he had worked over 50 years with Borden Dairy in the office. Richard attended Brookwood Way Church of Christ and enjoyed listening to country music and was a Cleveland Indians fan. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Richard is survived by two daughters, Pamela Kennedy and Kristi Myers, both of Mansfield; a son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Heather McWilliams of Kentucky; a son-in-law, Mark Kennedy of Mansfield; a stepdaughter Susan Lutz and her husband, Adam, of Idaho; three stepsons, Ralph Wilkinson and his wife, Nina of Columbus, Ronald Wilkinson of Mansfield and Russel Wilkinson and his wife, Deborah of North Carolina; three grandchildren, Joshua Kurtz and his wife, Julia of Michigan, Amanda Myers, Stephen Myers, both of Mansfield; five great-grandchildren; one niece and one nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Helen Strine, brother, Francis McWilliams and stepson, Randall Wilkinson.
Military graveside services officiated by Travis Irwin will be held Friday, June 11 at 11:00 a.m. at Mansfield Memorial Park. Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors one hour prior to the service.
