Ricky Stephen Libby

Ricky “Rick” Stephen Libby 61, died on August 8, 2020. He was born January 4, 1959, in Portland, Maine. Rick lived life to the fullest, enjoying spending as much time with his family and friends as possible.

He loved the outdoors enjoying nature, taking walks, riding his bike and spending time with his wife in botanical gardens around the world. He had a passion for music of all types, especially the Beatles. Rick enjoyed reading and had a voracious appetite for learning. He loved history, especially Biblical history and prophecy. His friendship with his God, Jehovah, was his most treasured possession, having dedicated his life to him in 1999 as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He enjoyed teaching others the Bible so they too could enjoy the best life ever.

He is survived by his wife, Christine; son, Robert (Danielle Hill-Traub) Libby; daughter, Stephanie Libby; two sisters, Tammy Templeton and Lisa (Roland) Vire; two grandchildren, Aria and Julian Libby; uncle, Roland "Will" "Uncle Farmer" (Rhoda) Libby; aunt, Agnes "Aggie" (Frank) Pinder; one nephew, Corey (Kate) Templeton; a great niece, Rosalind Templeton; and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Stephen Libby and his mother, Joan Willis.
